Meet leah carlson, gÖkotta travel’s newest escape artist!

We’re doing a happy dance because Leah Carlson has hopped on board the Gökotta Travel team as our newest wanderlust conjurer! With a work ethic that could power a rocket, a suitcase packed with travel tales, and enough entrepreneurial spirit to light up a room, Leah’s bound to be a Gökotta superstar (her radiant smiles are just the cherry on top!). Welcome aboard, Leah! Let the adventures begin!

“Hi, I’m Leah, the newest addition to the Gökotta Travel team! My love of travel started with my first trip to the Cayman Islands where I spent a week as a nanny. I knew then that the sun, sand, and ocean were my true calling. Since then, I’ve visited beaches in Hawaii, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Clearwater Beach, and Key West, FL. Living in San Diego and having the ocean outside my front door made me realize how much of a warm-weather climate person I am despite having grown up and living most of my life in Minneapolis, MN, known as the frozen tundra. 😊

When I’m not helping you with your dream escape, I enjoy spending time in the Twin Cities with my family and friends, trying new restaurants, and checking out the hottest patios and rooftops. I’ve managed to keep two indoor plants alive for several years, I’m not scared of bugs, and I am the person who falls asleep before the plane wheels are even up on take-off.
